Story of My Most Effective Teacher
My primary school teacher name was Mrs. Moss. On the very first day of school, she stood in front of her 6th grade class and told us that she loved us all the same. She was passionate about what she was doing. She had great enthusiasm for teaching. Mrs. Moss also maintained high standards in two areas. Firstly, in classroom management; we were well trained by Mrs. Moss to raise our hands if anyone had a question. Secondly, she had a high standard in academics. She would communicate with us and our parents letting us know that she take seriously the responsibility of helping the next generation acquire the knowledge we would have needed to function well in society. She also developed empathy for us. She would have made every effort possible to learn what’s going on in our lives, and what affected our learning. Additionally, Mrs. Moss helped us became motivated.

Story of My Least Effective Teacher
For me my least effective teacher was a man by the name of Mr. Box. During class time he would have a coffee cup the size of a whiskey barrel. He would put an equation on the board and tell us to complete it. He would then go to his desk and sip on his coffee all class time. If anyone asked him for further instructions he stated “it is right there, just do it”, and returned to sipping his coffee. He would normally be thirty minutes late for class. He also refused to teach a student because of the color of her skin. The child skin color was a little too dark for liking.
